Certified Floater Teacher -Sharon

Job description

JCC Greater Boston seeks a Floater Teacher to support the daily operations of its Gilson Early Learning Center in Sharon, MA and assist with a curriculum focused on children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This posting is for a 10-month school year (September–June), EEC-certified role at 35 hours per week; part-time floater shifts are also available. Responsibilities: • Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and take risks • Co-create a collaborative, positive, and innovative classroom culture with directors and peers • Partner and communicate with families and partner with JCC classroom teachers • Adhere to all EEC regulations and guidelines Qualifications: • EEC Certification • A love of children and a strong desire to make a difference • Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills; computer literate Salary: $21.00–$22.00 per hour (35 hours per week).
