Manager, Immersive Experiences

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks a Manager, Immersive Experiences to develop, plan, and enable Federation missions and immersive donor experiences in partnership with the Financial Resource Development (FRD) staff who execute each mission on the ground. Federation missions are among our most powerful donor engagement strategies, and this role supports their full lifecycle — planning, recruitment support, logistics, participant experience, stewardship, and evaluation. Responsibilities: • Translate donor engagement strategy into mission plans and meaningful participant experiences • Own mission planning from concept through post-mission follow-up, coordinating logistics, budgets, and vendors • Partner with lay chairs, volunteer leadership, and colleagues across FRD, Communications, and Impact • Develop mission communications, storytelling, stewardship, and standardized planning resources (SOPs, timelines, playbooks) Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience • 4–7 years in project/event management, donor engagement, travel programs, missions, or nonprofit development • Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendors and to travel domestically and internationally • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM, and project management tools; Israel travel and Jewish communal experience preferred Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; retirement plan with employer contribution; generous PTO including Jewish holidays; up to 6 weeks paid parental leave (after one year); commuter bonus; hybrid work environment.
