Job description
UJA Federation of Greater Toronto seeks a Director, Next Gen within its Annual Campaign team to engage donors under 40 and build the community's future philanthropists, volunteers, and leaders. Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Annual Campaign, the Director builds philanthropic relationships and manages a portfolio of donors, prospects, and volunteers. Responsibilities: • Develop the long-term strategy to build a strong pipeline of next-generation donors and volunteer leadership • Identify, cultivate, and manage a portfolio of donors 40 and under; implement stewardship plans with face-to-face meetings • Deliver against strategic fundraising and engagement targets; create fundraising strategies and events • Partner with the LEAD and prospecting teams to develop new volunteer leaders and donors • Manage a team of 1–2 employees, a group of lay volunteers, and a committee • Develop engagement plans for Next Gen Major Gifts ($5,000+) and Ben Gurion Society ($1,000+) donors Qualifications: • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience; 4+ years' relevant work experience • Previous experience managing and developing talent; fundraising experience recommended • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and strategic-thinking skills; Salesforce knowledge an asset Salary & Benefits: $105,000–$115,000. Hybrid work schedule, rich time-off policy, offices closed on all Jewish holy days, and early office closures for Shabbat.
