The Jewish Education Project — a global force strengthening Jewish identity, connecting young Jews to Israel, and helping young people stand up to antisemitism — seeks a Director of Institutional Giving to serve as the operational and relational engine of a growing foundations program. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer and partnering with the CEO and C-Suite, the Director manages a portfolio of national, regional, and local foundations and federations. Hybrid: Tuesdays–Thursdays at 1675 Broadway, NYC. Responsibilities: • Manage and grow a portfolio of institutional funders to secure renewed and new funding • Lead development of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, white papers, and reports • Coordinate reporting for all non-individual funders and own the master calendar of submission deadlines and deliverables • Build the institutional giving pipeline through prospect research and customized cultivation strategies • Supervise and mentor the Institutional Giving Manager Qualifications: • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in institutional giving, foundation relations, or nonprofit development • Demonstrated track record securing five- and six-figure grants • Exceptional writing and editing; CRM/grants platform proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) • Knowledge of the Jewish philanthropic community a significant plus Salary & Benefits: $130,000–$150,000.
