CSRC Intake Specialist

Job description

Jewish Family & Children's Service of Arizona seeks a CSRC Intake Specialist for its Customer Service Referral Center. The Intake Specialist receives calls from people seeking behavioral health and/or medical services, verifies eligibility, and schedules initial intake appointments. Responsibilities: • Receive incoming calls and determine whether requested services and funding sources are available • Schedule client appointments, verify funding source data, and obtain required authorizations • Create referral demographic documents in the EHR system and enter client information into tracking spreadsheets • Help clients access appropriate outside resources when intake capacity is limited • Schedule transportation and conduct appointment reminder calls as needed Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED; minimum 18 years of age • Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred (pay differential offered) • Eligibility & enrollment, DCS, NextGen EMR, or customer service/call center experience preferred • Must receive/maintain DPS fingerprint clearance Benefits: Generous paid time off and sick time, comprehensive medical/vision/dental, employee referral bonuses, Employee Assistance Program, professional development opportunities, and eligibility for loan forgiveness programs in many positions.
