YAFFED (Young Advocates for Fair Education) believes every child has the right to a quality education and works to ensure that Haredi and Hasidic yeshivas in New York deliver a sound basic education. YAFFED seeks a proactive, strategic Development Manager to manage fundraising efforts across multiple revenue streams, working closely with the Executive Director. Responsibilities: • Manage a comprehensive development strategy across major donors, institutions, and small-dollar donors; oversee stewardship, acknowledgments, and funder reports • Write grant proposals and reports, track deadlines, and research funding opportunities • Design and implement moves management for major donors; plan and execute virtual and in-person development events; maintain the CRM Qualifications: • Significant nonprofit development experience with demonstrated fundraising success and CRM/moves-management skills • Excellent relationship-building, writing, and organizational skills; familiarity with the Jewish philanthropic landscape and Greater New York preferred Details: Mostly remote (NY area) with occasional travel to NYC; reports to the Executive Director.
