Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School seeks a General Studies teacher to cover a Second Grade maternity leave from August through December, teaching Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Social Studies in a collaborative, team-based environment. Responsibilities: • Design and implement developmentally appropriate lessons that challenge students academically, physically, and artistically • Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom; collaborate with colleagues on school culture • Engage in ongoing professional development Ideal candidate: experienced in elementary education with strong core-subject knowledge; committed to authentic student relationships; collaborative, community-minded, and dedicated to continuous growth.
