The Hebrew Educational Society, a multi-service community center in southeast Brooklyn, seeks a Food Pantry Lead to work closely with the Pantry Director. Responsibilities: • Maintain pantry inventory for daily distributions and ensure boxes are prepared • Keep the food pantry and storage areas clean and organized • Train and motivate staff; support team-building and morale • Comply with NYC/NYS food safety and handling guidelines Qualifications: High school diploma; prior food pantry experience required; tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems; strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills; able to bend and lift up to 25 lbs. Schedule: Mon/Wed/Thu 9am–2pm, Tue 12:30–6pm (hours may vary). Part-time. Pay: $17/hour. In person.
