The Hebrew Educational Society, a multi-service community center in southeast Brooklyn, seeks a Head Swim Team Coach for its USA Swimming program. Responsibilities: • Design and oversee training plans for all training groups; set goals and monitor swimmer development • Attend daily practices and USA swim meets (including weekends); supervise swimmers in the pool area • Give instruction and feedback on training and technique; communicate with parents and swimmers Qualifications: Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and USA Swimming Coaching Certification required; training in Concussions, Athlete Protection, and Foundations of Coaching; 1–3 years club/high school/college swim coaching experience; high school diploma. Part-time, 20–25 hours/week plus meets. Pay: $30–$50/hour based on experience. In person.
