Job description

Scheck Hillel Community School, a nationally recognized college preparatory and Jewish community school in North Miami Beach serving over 1,300 students in PKT through 12th grade, is accepting resumes for High School English Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will plan, organize, and implement the instructional program in the High School — including literary reading and analysis, grammar, writing, and vocabulary — while guiding and encouraging students to develop and fulfill their individual academic and social-emotional potential. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's preferred), a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a high school setting, valid teaching certification (preferred), strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
