Job description
A new outpatient pediatric therapy practice in Boca Raton is seeking a Lead Speech-Language Pathologist to further establish and oversee the speech therapy program. This role blends clinical leadership with direct patient care and will supervise a team of 3–4 therapists. The clinic treats children under age 10, offering SLP, OT, and PT services. We are looking for a long-term team member eager to grow with the practice as it expands. **Compensation:** $80,000–$95,000 annually **Benefits:** 401(k) with matching, health, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA, PTO, and free parking **Location:** Boca Raton, FL **Schedule:** Full-time, Monday–Friday, in-person **Key Responsibilities:** **Clinical Care** • Provide pediatric speech-language evaluations and treatment • Develop individualized plans of care and adjust as needed • Deliver 30–60 minute sessions based on clinical recommendation • Educate caregivers and support home programming **Leadership & Supervision** • Build clinical protocols and treatment standards for the SLP program • Supervise SLPAs, CFs, and students • Support onboarding, training, and recruitment as the team grows • Promote evidence-based practice and high clinical quality **Collaboration & Quality** • Work closely with OT, PT, and clinical leadership to ensure coordinated care • Maintain strong documentation, compliance, and clinical outcomes • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives **Program Development** • Help build the speech therapy department during launch and expansion • Provide input on staffing, service offerings, and program enhancements • Participate in community outreach and marketing • Eligible for bonus incentives for marketing and generating client leads **Qualifications:** • Active, unrestricted SLP license (or ability to obtain Florida licensure) • CCC-SLP required • Outpatient pediatric experience required • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred • Strong clinical skills across pediatric developmental needs • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities • Valid Florida Driver's License **Pomera Care** is a healthcare recruitment and consulting agency.
