Job description

The Refugee Case Manager is a non-exempt position responsible for providing services to refugees and eligible clients that lead to their social integration. The Refugee Case Manager completes enrollments, assessments, eligibility determinations, and data collection to help refugees and their families succeed in their integration into life in the United States, and works across refugee programs. Responsibilities: - Enroll eligible clients and provide orientation to newly enrolled clients - Assist refugees in developing individualized service plans to achieve self-sufficiency, and conduct quarterly assessments of those plans - Determine needs for medical, legal, mental health, employment, educational, and social services, and help clients enroll accordingly - Assess client transportation needs, provide transportation, and accompany refugees to appointments - Maintain and document case files in accordance with funder regulations and agency requirements - Document financial assistance provided toward client goals and ensure all grant guidelines and deadlines are met Compensation & Benefits: - $21.15 per hour - 15 PTO days and 13 paid holidays per year - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Immediate eligibility for 403(b) Savings Plan with 25% match - Continuous training, professional development, and mileage reimbursement Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a social services-related field preferred - Previous experience working with refugees and immigrants preferred - Two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and life experience - Excellent writing and analytical skills; bilingual ability preferred - Knowledge of community organizations and resources - Valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage
