ICPC/OCS Case Manager

Job description

The ICPC/OCS Case Manager is a non-exempt position responsible for direct case management services to children, birth families, foster families, and primary caregivers assigned through the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) or Out-of-County Services (OCS). The role provides assessment, planning, coordination, and advocacy while maintaining positive working relationships with all parties involved. Responsibilities: - Identify strengths, limitations, risk factors, and needs, and coordinate the provision of services to the child, primary caregiver, and other case participants - Maintain face-to-face contact with children and other parties as required by state law, funder requirements, and program policy - Notify all parties of any changes in status, placement, or medical/mental health treatment, and ensure attendance at staffings and required meetings - Provide information and accompany children to appointments as necessary, including transportation of individuals with medical and behavioral health needs - Provide support, training, and crisis intervention to foster parents, birth parents, and other team members - Document services rendered within required timeframes and participate in the on-call rotation - Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with policies and state and federal statutes Compensation & Benefits: - $49,500 (entry-level, non-certified); $51,500 (one year as a certified Case Manager); $53,500 (three or more years certified) - 15 PTO days and 13 paid holidays per year - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Immediate eligibility for 403(b) Savings Plan with 25% match - Continuous training, professional development, and mileage reimbursement Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Education, Human/Child/Family Development, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Nursing), or an Associate's degree/60+ college credits plus two years of social work or human services experience - Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds - Ability to work with individuals who exhibit physically and/or verbally aggressive behaviors - Use of a personal vehicle to transport clients; valid driver's license with auto insurance coverage
