The Massry Assisted Living Residence, part of Daughters of Sarah Community for Seniors, is a non-profit, faith-based senior living community in Albany, NY dedicated to helping older adults live life to the fullest. Our dining experience plays a key role in the warm, welcoming atmosphere we create for residents. We are seeking a dependable full-time Cook to prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment in our assisted living community. Schedule: • Full-time, 8-hour shifts (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.) • Monday to Friday, with rotating weekends Responsibilities: • Prepare hot meals, soups, and sides following recipes • Maintain food quality, presentation, and proper temperatures • Clean and organize the kitchen and work areas • Label and store food and complete temperature logs • Assist with food prep and service as needed Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Minimum 1 year of cooking experience required • Knowledge of food safety practices • Team-oriented with strong communication skills, reliable, and able to work independently Compensation & Benefits: • $18.50 – $25.50 per hour (new higher starting rate) • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and paid sick time • Paid training and referral program Apply today and start making a difference—one meal and one smile at a time.
