Genesis Prize Foundation | Remote / Travel to NY as needed The Genesis Prize Foundation (GPF) is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-starting Communications and Marketing Associate to drive our daily social media presence, support global marketing and PR, and assist with CRM management. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or an early-career professional with up to two years of experience who is highly organized, technologically savvy, and ready to contribute to a high-impact philanthropic organization. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer with shared oversight by the Director of Programs. Social Media Execution & Operations • Serve as the primary poster and booster for all social media content across platforms • Monitor channels to respond to non-controversial inquiries using pre-approved scripts and delete spam/harmful comments • Proofread content immediately before launch to catch inaccuracies and coordinate fixes with the content developer • Gather performance statistics, follower growth data, and ad spend metrics to support regular social media analysis and reporting • Produce regular reports tracking posts from Genesis Prize laureates, stakeholders, and relevant personalities to identify timely engagement opportunities Email Operations • Set up, test, and distribute external email communications • Create and maintain email statistics and response trackers to evaluate engagement • Monitor the general GPF info email boxes and handle routine inquiries appropriately PR & Website Support • Gather and archive news and social media clippings following major announcements • Perform select digital PR tasks, including updating website content and supporting updates to Wikipedia pages • Serve as the primary custodian of the Genesis Prize photo and video library Project Management & Systems Support • Own and maintain the Monday.com project management tool to keep all social media and marketing content pipelines organized • Support the Director of Programs with administrative and data maintenance support within Salesforce CRM • Maintain social media standard operating procedures (SOPs) and content checklists Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; open to recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Direct experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube) and project management software (Monday.com) • Knowledge of Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Account Engagement is a major plus • Experience and comfort using AI tools to streamline daily marketing and project management functions • Exceptional attention to detail, proactive approach to managing multiple projects, eager to learn To Apply: Send resume to Alison Karlin, Chief Marketing Officer, at [email protected]
